Under the leadership of a trained therapist, the groups listed below are billable to your insurance plan. 

If you are a resident of Anoka County without insurance, a sliding scale fee payment plan is available.

Adult Women's PTSD Group

For individuals who wish to start examining their individual issues with trauma.

This group uses psycho-education and sessions focus on:

  • Education about PTSD
  • Developing coping strategies and problem solving skills to deal more effectively with PTSD symptoms
  • Reducing PTSD symptoms
  • Improvidng psychosocial adjustment

          10 sessions long and each session is two hours in length.

Mindfulness Group for Adults

For individuals who wish to learn more about mindfulness and how to incorporate it into daily living.

Sessions focus on::

  • Mindfulness
  • Meditation exercises
  • Promoting higher levels of wellness, stability, and quality of life

          10 sessions long and each session and one hour in length.

Adult Depression Group

Focuses on depression and healthy ways to manage it.

This group uses psycho-education and sessions focus on:

  • Identifying symptoms and triggers of depression
  • Developing coping strategies and problem solving skills to deal more effctively with depressive symptoms
  • Reducing depressive symptoms
  • Promoting higher levels of wellness, stability and quality of life

          

           20 sessions long and each session is two hours in length.

DBT Informed Skills Group for Adolescents & Parents

Dialectics is a way of understanding the world, a philosophy.  It believes that there is always more than one way

to see a situation and more than one way to solve a problem.  Participants will learn a vareity of practical techniques.

This group is for adolescents and their parents.

Sessions will focus on:

  • Identifying and managing emotion
  • Learning and practicing distress tolerance
  • Learning mindfulmes skills
  • Improving relationships through effective communication, including parent/teen relationship
  • Help manage suicidal and self-harming behaviors

          

           This group is 6 months long and each session is two hours in length.
