Bridgeview Drop-in Center

Lee Carlson Center is proud to offer Bridgeview, Anoka County’s only drop-in center for adults living with a diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness.

Adults living with serious mental health issues can often isolate themselves from others. Bridgeview offers members wide array of services under one roof. Having access to community supports outside one’s home environment can help individuals thrive despite their mental illness. Staff works closely with families, care providers, and community organizations to assist in providing resources and services. Members have access to over 25 support groups each week and lunch Monday-Friday. They can also participate in weekly field trips, yoga and dance classes, and can participate in art classes, art therapy, writers workshops and garden groups. Members can even meet with a mental health professional for therapy individually and a psychiatrist if needed. In-home Mental Health Support through ARMHS, Housing Support and Housing Stabilization are also accessible via the Bridgeview Drop-in Center.

Bridgeview members also have access to an employment specialist and vocational rehabilitation at Bridgeview through a collaborative partnership with RISE.

Membership to Bridgeview is free. A tour or program intake meeting can be conveniently scheduled for first time visitors.

Transportation is available to and from Bridgeview at no charge to members.
