Bridgeview Community Support Program
Adults living with serious and persistent mental illness often struggle with the stigma of their diagnosis, causing them to siolate themselves from others. Bridgeview offers a setting that promotes social interaction, psychosocial rehabilitaiton, and support.
Staff works closely with families, care providers, and community organizations to assist with access to resources and services. Membership is free, but members must have a diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness. Transportation is offered at no charge to and from Bridgeview.
Members have access to a wide array of support & therapy groups each week. Topics range from "Anger Management" to "DBT Skills" to "Mindfulness." Many of the groups are led by a Trained therapist assisted by a Peer Support Specialist.
