The marketing, communications and fundraising team includes a full time manager, supported by four volunteer/interns and an internal communications team. Every year, hundreds of local advocates also support fundraising efforts by volunteering.

Patty Halvorson
Director of Development

BA, Marketing/Communications

She leads efforts to raise dollars and awareness for the agency through special events, marketing/fundraising appeals, public relations and social media efforts.   She also manages the agency website and recruits and manages volunteers and outside advocates.

Prior to joining the center, she was a Marketing/Promotions Director for International Dairy Queen and managed their cause partnership with Children’s Miracle Network.
