Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

A child and adolescent psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and the treatment of disorders of thinking, feeling, and/or behavior affecting children, adolescents, and their families. A child and adolescent psychiatrist offers families the advantages of a medical education, the medical traditions of professional ethics, and medical responsibility for providing comprehensive care.

Dr. Suzanne Aoun
MD, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Dr. Aoun's focus is on children and adolescents and she sees ages 5 and up.  She takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working with a multi-disciplinary team.

Originally from Lebanon, she enjoys spending her free time traveling with her husband and two young sons.

Dr. Thomas Converse
MD, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Dr. Converse provides psychiatric consultation for children, teenagers, and their families.  Consultations include diagnostic assessment and treatment recommendations including medication management, should it be appropriate or desired. 

He is a graduate of Yale Medical School and also has a private practice.
