Services in Anoka County, Hennepin County and Beyond

Lee Carlson Center’s Housing Stabilization Services offers a support to those with Medical Assistance who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Housing Stabilization Services.....

  • Help you plan for, find, and move into housing.
  • Help you keep housing after moving in.
  • Provide assistance finding financial resources.
  • Help you communicate with landlords.

County caseworkers and case managers can refer you to this service if you ask and are qualified.

You may qualify if you:
  • Have medical assistance
  • Are 18 and older
  • Have a disability or disabling condition
  • Are Homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Have a qualifying assessment

Services offered only in Anoka County

Lee Carlson Center’s CSP/Housing Support Services Program offers a flexible package of service opportunities tailored to each client’s specific needs for support.

CSP Services

CSP services include: coaching in and assistance with household management, self-care, mental health symptom management and Social Skills. To access the service, clients should inquire about the service with Anoka County.

Other things to know about CSP services:
Clients can only receive this service if they do NOT have Medical Assistance (MA). Clients with Medical Assistance (MA) can access similar supports through referral to our Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Program.

Housing Services

Housing services include: assistance with calling coordinated entry, navigating Section 8 paperwork, searching for apartments, communicating with landlords, and brainstorming short-term, emergency housing options. To access the service clients should inquire about the service with Anoka County.

Other things to know about CSP services:
To qualify for service individuals and families must be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Additionally, only individuals with SMI/SPMI diagnoses who reside in Anoka County can qualiy for service.
