Angie Moua, MS, LPCC
Clinical Counselor for Lee Carlson Center
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
In my view, all individuals have the ability to create meaningful change in their lives. Through my empowerment model, I help individuals identify their strengths, take control of their lives, make informed decisions, and overcome challenges. I use a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) foundation with an emphasis on strengths-based, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approaches with my clients. I enjoy working with diverse populations, building on my experiences helping native communities in Alaska and the homeless population in Florida, both of which have been especially meaningful to me.
My personal interests include attending music festivals, which help me to reset, enjoying the companionship and nurturing bonds with animals, and studying past human behavior and using it to inform my own personal reflections.
